Responsibilities:
Lead process design and implementation for new and existing products. Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize manufacturing processes and eliminate waste. Apply Six Sigma methodologies to improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards. Develop and implement process improvements using AutoCAD and other design software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product development and design for manufacturing. Conduct process simulation studies to support process improvements and new product development. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management, making recommendations for improvements. Train and mentor other team members on process engineering principles and best practices. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering or a related role in the manufacturing industry. Proficient in Manufacturing Engineering, Six Sigma, Product Development, Process Engineering, AutoCAD, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing, and Process Simulation. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus. Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and modeling is preferred. Experience in a regulated industry, such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices, is a plus.
